School and Club Programs
Developing comprehensive coaching programs within schools and clubs to introduce children to the sport and develop their skills from an early age.

Creating elite development squads for the most promising young players, providing them with advanced training and competition opportunities.
Expansion of Underage Intercounty Programme
Participation in Celtic Challenge (U17) and Under 19 development squad.

The redevelopment of our county grounds is a cornerstone of Waterford GAA’s vision for the future. This project includes:

Walsh Park Upgrades
Modernising Walsh Park to provide a better experience for players and supporters, with Phase 1 completed i.e. improved seating, media facilities, and accessibility. Continuing the phased development plan, which has already seen significant progress, to ensure the stadium meets the highest standards.
Fraher Field Enhancements
Committing to continuous upgrades at Fraher Field in Dungarvan to ensure it remains a top-class venue for hosting matches and events. This includes improving infrastructure, seating, and facilities to enhance the overall experience for both players and spectators.
Community Engagement
Improving venues that can host not only sporting events but also community activities, making them central hubs for the local area.
Funding and Support
Securing the necessary funding to complete the redevelopment of both Walsh Park and Fraher Field, ensuring they become state-of-the-art stadiums that can host memorable sporting occasions.
